When you think of the month of August many activities come to mind. Going to the beach, traveling, and enjoying the summer weather to name a few. However, there is another activity that has recently made headlines not once, but twice. PEEING on airplanes!! This is fine if done in the lavatories, but both incidents occurred in the eyes of fellow passengers and flight crew.
First by Robert Vietze, a member of the U.S. Ski team, and second by actor Gerard Depardieu. What is wrong with you people??? Vietze admitted to being drunk and not knowing what he was doing, while Depardieu claimed he had a bladder problem. Either way, I’m sure both of these men are seasoned travelers, not that it makes a difference, and can discriminate between the carpet and a toilet.
Vietze has since been released from the ski team and Depardieu apologized, saying he was trying to relieve himself in an empty bottle and in the process spilled it on the floor.
What have we learned from this?? Just because you are fast on skis doesn‘t make you fast on getting to a toilet and just because you receive an Academy Award nomination for acting doesn’t mean you know how to act in public.
